The Breast Cancer Research Foundation
The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is dedicated to prevention and finding a cure for breast cancer. They have raised over $440 million in support of clinical research worldwide, contributing to many diagnostic and treatment breakthroughs.
BreastFree is an information resource for women who are considering or who have decided to have no reconstruction after mastectomy. Read about womens' decisions and experiences, see photos of women who chose to not have reconstruction, and get advice and tips on living breast-free.
CancerCare is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide free professional help to people with all cancers and their loved ones through counseling, education, support groups, and direct financial assistance
Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC) is a nonprofit educational organization committed to improving the quality of life of women affected by breast cancer. In addition to their website, LBBC offers the Survivors' Helpline, educational conferences, a quarterly newsletter, consumer focused booklets, outreach to medically underserved women, and more.
MyLifeLine provides an easy-to-use, personalized online platform that allows patients to create a web support community. Through MyLifeLine, patients can give updates to family and friends, share photos, provide educational links, assign a friend to delegate tasks, get help with website management, and much more.
The National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC)
The National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC) is a grassroots effort dedicated to ending breast cancer by 2020 through action and advocacy. NBCC is coordinating research, funding, access to information, and advocates to reach their goal.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure raises funds for research, education, and outreach through community events such as Race for the Cure. Komen has affiliates throughout the United States and internationally.

While there are many fine cancer organizations out there, Bosom Buddies of Arizona is different: All of the leaders of our support groups are themselves breast cancer survivors and all of our facilitators are volunteers, not paid staff.
